l am having horrible menstrual cramps that started this morning.l was diagnosed 4 months ago with ovarian cysts and 2 fibroid tumors.l am taking Lortab for the pain but it is not helping.Anyone got any idea what could be wrong?Maybe one of the cysts ruptured..??Hopefully someone that has had this experience can help.The pain is so bad l am considering going to the ER but not sure if l should or not.Thanks...
l already tried a hot bath this morning and it did not help.Also using the heating pad which is not helping much either.

try going on the pill,i had the worst cramps ever n the pill was the last thing i wanted but the pain medication my doctor prescribed were not working,n they're bad for ur liver.go 2 ur doctor girl!he will know ir case,dont wanna worry u but u could be wasting time online.just make an appt n put urmind at ease.:)

I have excruciating menstrual cramps too, however I've never been check for anything.

-Eat a banana or two
-Put a heating pad over ur stomach, or a tubesock filled with rice & heat it up in the microwave.
-Take some aleve along with ur Lortabs. I would try one first because of the APAP in ur lortabs.
-Take a hot bath
-Wear loose clothing
-Avoid tampons.
-Drink water. Caffiene makes it worse IMO.

If none of these help the least bit, then go to the ER.

Try some Midol and go to the ER.
