I am 37 weeks pregnant, and my due date is one week away.
Me and my partner had sex last night and I am worried it may have sped up the labor process, as sex can induce labor ... ?

My discharge had a slight pinkish color last night after sex and I've felt cramping VERY similar to menstrual cramps. They were not really painful, just noticeable. Also, I've felt a little tension in my lower stomach where menstrual pains usually take place.

Having a light pinkish colored discharge, could this mean l am close to labor?
If anyone else has experienced the pinkish discharge (which is common) how long afterwards did labor begin for you?

I have heard been called your mucus plug its before every thing else happens it all depends have fast your going to go there is no telling every one is different you could be already dilated or have a long ways to go but call your doctor they might have you just go to the office 1st or a quick visit to the hospital and if nothings wrong you gets to go home! its better to be safe! Good luck and get ready to push!
