So l have been 3 to 5 mins apart since 1:30pm today and then at 5pm became about 2 to 3mins apart. My stomach gets really hard and it is very painful. l am good with pain so l try to talk through them. The past few days l have losing tiny bits of my plug but starting a few mins ago they are hugh globs and very often. Sry TMI. It is like really bad menstrual pains. l am afraid to call in cuz l have had several false alarms and being over due l do not think l could stand another one. l wanna make sure first.
There was no blood but l have not spotted at all even after having my membranes stripped 2 days ago

I think you really should at least call the hospital and see if they think you should come in, but I think you have waited long enough and that you should go in.

You might have a baby in your arms in the morning. Sometimes it is not as painful when you talk through a contraction. I spent the first part of my last pregnancy at home not realizing it was labor even after doing it 3 times before. If the plug comes out totally and if they get 1 minute apart or if your water breaks or you think you peed on yourself, you better get the hospital right away. Have fun! It will all be over soon and you will have that sweet baby.

I would go to the hospital it sounds like you are very much in labor. Even with false alarms, the symptoms that you are describing you need to be checked. Worse things that can happen is they send you home again. As far along as you are you can have the baby at any time. Go get checked, do not wait much longer. Good luck!

With my son I went to the hospital about 2-3 times a week for false labor. Come to find out every time I went it wasnt false I was dilating but thats all. Finally on my last one I was timing them and it was the right time. Good luck!!!! Go to the hospital!!!! Lol Good Luck!!!

i think you should call the dr anyway has your plug had any blood in it


oh and contractions do feel like menstrual pains just 10 times worse

This is why you should call, to determine if it is the real thing. It sounds like the real thing to me, but only your doctor can determine that. Make that phone call!

It is not considered false labor if your contractions are now timed and have been consistant for over an hour. You need to go to the hospital, if you're worried about them telling you to go home then you can try talking to your doctor and see if they will induce you.

To me, it sounds like you're in labor and should go in now before it is too late to get the epidural.

i would just call the hospital and see what they think.....if the pain is severe go ahead and go in...with you being that far along, they might even help you get things started
