Could this be signs of cancer?
After l gave birth to my daughter l continued bleeding for 2 months and in that time the blood started having a foul smell. l then went back to my doc. she took a sonar of my womb and then said that she may have left a cotton bud behind when they performed the Cesarean and arranged to perform a dilation & curettage. After this procedure l continued bleeding for an additional 6months and the smell got worse. l then went to a new doc which prescribed 2 sets of antibiotics. l would take the medicine and after about a week the symptoms would lesson but as soon as the medication was finished the symptoms would return. The doc then prescribed three sets of antibiotics and l was to take them for a week longer which cleared the symptoms but since then, (its been almost two years since l gave birth) l experience pain during sex and will bleed after sex also my menstrual pains have worsen and l have lost a lot of weight. We do have cancer genes in the family and therefor l am scared that this might be my problem. Please can anyone give some advise?

Also when l do get my menstrual period l have an infection after wards. l know this is not normal.

Could this be signs of cancer

I dont think its cancer, but im not a doctor. You NEED to get a 2nd opinion from a DIFFERENT doctor.

Could this be signs of cancer

It does not sound like a sign of cancer to me. Sounds more like a persistent infection & not very good care from ur doctors! If u keep taking antibiotic is that knock down a bug for a bit but then it returns afterwards, what u r doing is actually training the bug to be bigger & badder than before. (It is called a sub-leathal kill in medical language) You need to go to a specialist & make sure all ur medical records r available to him/her. You need to get the right treatment. It is so unfair that this has dragged on so long for you.

Also, the infection may have caused scarring on u cervix which would cause the painful sex & possibly the bleeding. You definitely need to explain everything to a specialist. Good luck.
