Severe period pains should always be investigated to check for a treatable cause. As a rough guide, if you've had severe period pain (known as dysmenorrhoea) since around the time ur periods first started, it is less likely a particular cause will be found.
There r exceptions to this. Conditions such as endometriosis can sometimes cause severe pain from an early age (although the pain typically gets worse as the disease does more damage with each monthly cycle). Other causes include fibroids, pelvic inflammatory disease & sometimes a narrowing of the cervix. Bear in mind, though, that period pains r rarely a sign of disease, especially in younger women.
If the pain begins to interfere with ur life, preventing u from working, going to school or coping with daily tasks, I would recommend u consult with a doctor/gynaecologist for further evaluation.
Good luck :)
I have bad pain also. I take 4 of the liquid Advil (they work really good) and sometimes it help to drink something warm.Like warm milk or hot chocolate .
It helps me if I lay on my stomach. My husband will sometimes massage my lower back.
Lavender oil dabbed on the area of the cramping helps sometimes.
I also take Midol, drink lots of water. And this is going to sound gross, but my doctor told me if you have an orgasm, that sometimes that will help alleviate some of the pain. I wo not have sex while I am on the rag, but masturbation is there for a reason I guess.
I get that all the time! Midol (pain killer, pill) can be really hepfull. Heat can work too, so if you hsve a hot water bottle, use it!
take a nice long hot bubble bath, and some advil. listen to your favorite music and just relax.. then either watch some tv curled up on the couch or go to bed early so you can wake up tomorrow and feel alot better! :]
good luck, i hope you feel better.
peace out.
1 ibuprofen and 1 midol.
Take them TOGETHER every 4 hours.
It will prevent cramps and help with bloating and fatigue.
Hope you feel better!
:]

Use a heating pad and Advil. Make sure you get enough sleep but also try to stay active by doing something like walking. Movement can help work out the pain sometimes.
Take Midol, use a heating pad, exercise
hot water pad, tylenol 500, sitting in a tub of hot water.
I suffered for years and used to sit with a hot water bottle and take some pain killers.
Midol - Extreme relief. Lay down, put a hot washcloth - not too hot across your abdomen, eat a banana. Try to sleep. Do not run or take big strides, you will feel better by the time you wake up!
Take Motrin or Advil and use a heating pad.
a warm bath and motrin might help
