My mother had been diagnosed with endometriosis when l was a little girl, and my older sister got an ovarian cyst when she was seventeen. I am eighteen now, and i've been having irregular periods, severe menstrual pain (The OMG KILL ME NOW kind) along with vomiting on several occassions, nausea, feeling faint. it is been happening for several years now and about 4 times out of a 9 months worth of periods *l do skip months alot*. l understand that both endometriosis and ovarian cyst are linked to heredity...is there a large chance?

Family members with Endometriosis and ovarian cyst..I could be showing symptoms.

No one really knows the cause of Endometriosis but I do hear that it can be hereditary but I do not know to what extent. You should see a doctor because if you do have it you do not want to to get out of control.
