taking too much analgestic is bad for your stomach, too
Mild cramping is normal during ur period, but severe menstrual cramping is NOT normal. This could be a symptom of Endometriosis. Endometriosis causes severe pelvic pain, heavy irregular periods, & a lot of brown clots during ur menstrual period. Please see ur doctor & get tested for this disease. Also do not be afraid to tell ur doctor how much pain u r in & be sure to tell him that over the counter pain medicine do not work. Ask for a narcotic type pain medication. There is no need to suffer. Also try a heating pad or hot water bottle u can buy at the drug store.
there are many herbs that help alleviate menstrual pain, also, hot packs, massage(self), and some exercises and yoga positions..i recommend a book called Wise Woman Herbal the Childbearing Year and i would also research the library under the topic of menstruation and you will find many different techniques to help with menstrual pain good luck
Yes, please make an appt. with a dr. asap about this. It could be endemetreosis, or just that time of the month discomfort, or something else. There are meds they can presribe to help too, that you wo not be taking too much of. Take care.
YES!!You should not be having pain for 4 days! That is ridiculous! 2 hours is all I can take! Yes. Go to an ob/gyn. It is probably time for that yearly mammogram or pap smear, right? No matter what, do not take more analgesics than the directions say. Take the maximum dose; any more wo not help anyway. And try generic Aleve. But really, get to the doctor ASAP. Good luck to you.
